Start Menu
The Start button is located at the left corner of the taskbar. It opens programs on your computer. When you click the Windows button, the Start menu appears.
The Start menu has two sections: the left pane and the right pane.FAST FORWARD
You can open the Start menu by pressing the Windows logo key on the keyboard.

1. Start Menu: Right Pane
– Displays a list of recently opened programs, some of which may have a symbol.
– Clicking on a folder, such as *Windows Accessories*, reveals the programs it contains. Select a program to launch it.
– The taskbar features a *Search box* for locating programs and files on your computer.
2. Start Menu: Left Pane
– Offers shortcuts to frequently used folders like Documents, Pictures, and Settings.
– The Power button, which is used to shut down the computer, is located here.
